Tiny Terror Bass

I just got a used Eden 4x10XLT and I plan on slowly transitioning from my old Carvin 1x15. Both are 8ohm cabs and I'm just excited to see if I like this 4x10. I've been thinking about replacing my PB500H which has proven to be a great head. The Orange appeals to be because it puts out 500w, it's low weight, and it has a dead simple EQ.

Anyone have feelings about the Orange Tiny Terror? This would be my gig amp/rehearsal with band amp

I love my Terror. It does have a simple EQ and I appreciate that as well. The down side is the EQ is not super versatile, but is does sound good to my ears clean or dirty. It has plenty of power and should have some to spare with your 4x10. Some people complain about fan noise. Mine has a bit of noise, but it's not really obnoxious. The amp does need some volume to achieve it sound anyways. There's a of couple long threads on TB if you search and a couple of reviews on youtube if you want to hear. Search using Terror Bass. Tiny Terror is a guitar amp.

I love it. I barely have to mess with the EQ settings and it sounds great with my gain pedals. It's louder than hell too!

Feelings? No. Thoughts? Yes.

I have one and it serves me well. The amp is transparent and transmits the sound of your bass. The tone controls add to the tone but in a subtle way. The way the Terror Bass adds tone is as if it adds it back to the sound rather than boosting the tone.

It has tons of power. I tested it outside with an 8x10 and it had more volume than I could ever use.

The effects loop is line level. Don't think of putting a pedal in the effects loop. I haven't used the DI but many posts on TB about how hot it is.

The ultimate in portability. I have been thinking if I want additional EQ, I would just get an Aguilar Tone Hammer EQ pedal and still have a powerful, ultra portable amp.

well I plan on trying it out soon at a local music store, kinda worried about this Eden Cab though that Leona1 sold me. UPDATE::
Ok, I just spent about one hour with this amp with a ampeg cab (guess Chicago Music Exchange didn't wanna set up the 8ohm Eden I was hoping for). It sounds great, loud, and usable for just about any realistic venue...They are willing to sell it to me for $759
