Tone Hammer through powered monitor

Have any of you ran a Tone Hammer through a powered stage monitor or similar set up? I'm in the process of putting together a rig and mainly need something so I can hear myself on stage. For the time being I'll be playing an Ampeg Baby Bass and eventually will get a BG as well. The key for me is to have a small/light rig to hear myself and use FOH support. As far as styles of music it will mainly be latin jazz, salsa, and rock.

Don't see why it shouldn't work.

Just make sure you get a monitor that's designed for actual full-range applications, and not just vocals.

I've used one through a Berg IP-112 (XLR output, post EQ, with AC adapter). It worked very well. Plenty of juice to drive the IP power amp.

Well, I use the Tone Hammer as a DI feed to FOH. I use an aux channel to send the signal back to my stage monitor (EV zxa1). I set the monitor to high pass at 100hz and let the FOH subs fill it in. This setup works very well for me.

I have also used the Tone Hammer into a power amp into a bass cab many times with much success.
