Tone Tubby Speakers

Is there any better speaker in the world?Provacutive question indeed.I blew 2 Hartke speakers and getting replacement is a PITA.Well I knew this guy since 1977 that had a speaker repair business up the street.I thought I would see if he could repair my Hartkes and walked out his door with 2 Tone Tubby speakers that blew my mind and socks off for that matter.They are made from Hemp (DEA disaprove)they are so strong the sound is warm and they will knock you down with the thump.Most be a reason that Carlos Santana,Eric Clapton,Bob Weir,REM and the list of the best players in the world have put these speakers into all their cabs.Well the above are all 6 string players I know but the Bass speaker is real new so it is not a household word here on TB. My friend has a custom sigmund guitar amp with a tone tubby. The amp sounds awesome but i dont know how much of that is the speaker. I have wondered what they would be like in a bass cab.

Probably, but since they don't have any specs or SPL charts posted there's no way to know. Too many coincidental items point to these being Eminence drivers anyway.
