hey kids... i mostly lurk these days, but i know talkbass loves a little gear porn... had another big cab follow me home... it is actually easier to move than the 410he.... unless there are stairs!
as you might guess, the mesa is very happy when paired with a cab like this... previously, i used it with a pretty stout 2x15 cab, but this thing sort of leaves it in the dust. that cab is getting ready to be rewired @ 16 ohms for use with the head below....
and even though *this* combo isnt usable, it sure looks cool! (the only ampeg head i own). yes, i totally staged it. the feet even fit into the cups!
y'all play pretty with your ultralight stuff! ill be over here nursing my hernia.

I would not run a 16 ohm cab with an SVT, as it does not have a tap for 16 ohm loads. |

| | | | Because that's not an SVT but a B25. SVT's don't have a single handle on top 'cause you wouldn't be able to lift it :-) |

| | | | Haha, KrAYzeE!!!
The silliest thing might be an Ampeg straight back cab btw: there is single handle on the side! |

You could wire the bottom the speakers into 2 equal groups of 4 speakers. Then use these two pairs in series or parallel depending on the head you are using.
This could probably be possible with some wiring mods inside the cab, or even some jumpers on the outside of the cab that you can manually reconfigure.
