Trace 2x15 cab help

Can anyone tell me which model this is...and your opinion of it ? Is this one of the "good" Trace cabs ? Apparently it is approx 15 years old and 400 watts

I'm not familiar with that era. I think it's a bit older than my 1994 single 15. Possibly it's actually newer from when Gibson took over and did the red stripe thing again. It would be a 1524 or 1528 depending on the impedance.

If it's still in good shape it'll blow away accoustic drums no problem.

Lacking the moulded port tubes I'm thinking it's more like mid 80's.

And racing stripes place it to be fairly old which means yes it is a good trace cab.

The guy said it was approx 15 years old which would place it mid-late 90's but he could be off.

Any info on these ? I'm having a hard time finding any info on them. Size, weight, what speakers etc

I think he's off. As fas as I know Gibson kept the molded port tubes which went through the grill so you can plug and unplug for fine tuning, then Peavey went to slots.

Have a look through the Team Trace Elliot and Team Trace Elliott (sic) II threads. There is also "The" Trace Elliot Thread.

By rights it'll make a big glorious bass sound something like my 1518 in tone, but very heavy, 610 wide 430 deep, not nearly so tall as 2 of mine, maybe 1m? Probably 120 to 130 lbs, my 1518 is 90 something.
