Hi this is my first post.

I just purchased a used TE 715 X and was wondering if an external speaker cabinet can be used with the combo speakers? In other words will they both work at the same time or will only the external work if its hooked up.

Any help would be appreciated.

You can run another cabinet in TANDEM with the 715x. I'm using a peavey bw115. Both cabinets produce TONS of sound!

Yes, you can connect a second cab and the internal speakers will work too. Just make sure that the cab you connect to the amp is 8ohm. Anything lower will harm the amp.
