Trace Elliot AH300?

Sign in to disble this ad
I saw a live band the other day and loved the bassist's tone. I asked her afterwards what amp she was using and she said Trace Elliot AH300. I proceed to check the Trace site and only find an AH600-7 and AH600-12. Is the 300 simply a lower powered version of the AH600 or is it a different head completely?

Also, did Trace change a lot of things? I remember playing on some Trace amps years ago and LOVED the sound of every single one of them. Was trying some out a few months ago and hated every single one of them...

I'm guessing that she has an older Trace head from the 90's or thereabouts...if it's anything like my '95 AH130, it has a GP7SM preamp.

And yeah - Trace has changed a lot over the years...
