Trace Elliot GP12X V6, which cab?

Hi

After some searching, I found a Trace Elliot GP12X Version 6 pre amp. So now I have to look around for a power amp(undecided which one) and cab.

I don't have a clue which brands sound good with Trace Elliot. The only TE cabs I see online here are 810's, which are just too big for me.

So what I'm looking for is a 212 or 410 cab. My budget is around 500 to 600 EUR. Anyone any experience with TE and different cabs?

Mine has been through a few cabs over the years when I have lent it out. Each player eq's it to suit themselves and their gear. All borrowers got "their" sound well enough to be happy.

If you're shopping mail order all I can advise is look for something with relatively flat response if you want to make use of the signature preshapes.

Any power amp will do, trace built pre amps with a ton of output gain available. You'll never get it past 5 in all likelihood.
