One of them is from southend on sea!.
My mate Rob Eaglestone still has his mighty V8 he lets me interfere with just whenever I fancy!. |

And in case you need some advice, or just like geeking out on tubes and stuff... http://www.amptone.com/
A VAST resource.
Have fun with it...and bend at the knees.
Love those old Trace cabs...must sound KILLER with the Berg.

Sounded good, just did not "fit" with the band unfortunately. Way too classy and pristine for our sound so just got eaten up.
Through a Berg NV425, it was the shizzle on it's own. |

With my LittleMark 3 and ShuttleMax 6, the Trace cabs sound brilliant, I actually prefer them to the Breg.
With the Hexa, I think the Berg might have the edge, I guess because it is sealed, it tightens it up a little and is still massive sounding. Only a few gigs with each will tell. |

yeah. I remember them coming into the warehouse. About 60 came in...only about 20 were operational. We sent the other 40 back to England.
Shortly thereafter, the wheels started to come off the trolly with the whole Trace thing so we sold the company. So that ended the HexaValve thing in the U.S.

If you don't mind me asking what did it cost you, you can give an approx. price if you rather, I'm just trying to figure out true market value. One just sold on ebay yesterday for $710.00, with only two bidders. I would have definitely bid on it but the seller did not sell outside of the cont. US and I am in Canada. My search continues, patience is a virture or so they say. What Bass are running through it, active or passive. Congrats again. Dave |

I sold my Quatra Valve for about that or maybe a bit more. |

It seems I am a little late getting in the hunt for my elusive Quatra lol. It would appear as though these things seem to sell in batches and then go quiet for a while. I found two other Hexavalves for sale, one in the UK for 750 British pounds (sold last week)and one in Belgium for 1200 euros. Both of those convert into well above $710.00 U.S. Add in shipping and insurance and the price is getting up there even for these amps. |

| | Registered User | | | | | That was my sale on the Bay, and the amp was previously bought from Tom - it was his second amp. I paid considerably more than the final auction price. Whoever bought it got a great deal. Too bad you decided not to bid.
BTW, Tom, the winning bidder is in Ohio; maybe someone you know?
