Trace Elliot Hexa-Valve main fuse value

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi. I blew the " Main Fuse " in my Hexa-Valve, can anyone please tell me what fuse value should go in there? The one that was in there is a 15A 125V. I ask this because the value for the Main Fuse was rubbed off the amp. I have no way of confirming the fuse that blew is even the right one for this amp. Please help

Hey brother,

I just looked at mine and it's a 125v/10A fuse, and the writing on the back of the amp agrees.

Another thing is that if there are any problems beyond replacing the fuse, M-tronics in downtown Mesa are thoroughly familiar with that amp and have the schematics on file.

Thanks for the reply. Since this used to be your amp, was this fuse installed by them? Just wondering if they put that in there because they changed something when M-tronics restored it.

I don't know for sure; but suspect it is more likely that fuse was put in there by an owner previous to me, and we will never know. Best to just get it right going forward.
