Trace Noob Question re: 500W @ 4 Ohm

Sign in to disble this ad
Back of my AH500-7 says 500 Watts @ 4 ohms as expected. BUT, there are two output jacks (one combo 1/4 plus speakon and one pure 1/4).

Can I run one 4 ohm speaker out of each jack?

One 8 ohm out of each?

One 8 ohm that extends to another 8 ohm?

Link to amp? Most likely you can put 4ohm worth of cabs to it. One 4 OR 2 8's.

Found it.

According to the 600 watt version available new, the manual says 4 ohm load total meaning 2 speakers at 8 ohms each is ideal.
