| Traynor \monoblock vs Markbass CMD102p - what do you think

for fun over the holidays I am going to try to do a comparison - old vs new - smaller vs bigger kind of thing. I have in my music room a Traynor Monoblock head with a Doyle 1/15 cab loaded with a JBL 140 and a Markbass CMD102p . I use a 1973 P bass , modded with a Quarter Pounder P pickup and an Ultrajazz Jazz pickup.
Altho I got the Markbass awhile ago - I have only had the chance to use it for maybe an hour or so - its been a bust 2011.
I love the rock and blues tones from the Monoblock for sure.
Anyone have an thoughts on the two ? Any predictions ? Any old school fans left out there or are we now in an ultralight society LOL !!! |
