I've wanted one of these for a long time. I got sniped on Ebay for one two days ago so I put a wanted ad on craigslist and got a reply right away. the guy selling it (Andrew- thanks a ton if you're a member here and read this) asked me if I wanted it because of the Shellac and Jesus Lizard connection. he was bang on, I knew about these amps before but the connection to those bands and the tone, was what really had me gassing. Andrew demoed it for me and it sounded killer, he`s a great pplayer and has two more of these as well as some other killer bass rigs. the rehearsal space was full of primo bass rigs. anyway here`s a really crappy picture, I can`t wait to rehearse with this thing this week.

I am a member here.

Hope you enjoy it, the bang for buck on these amps is really high. Too bad Traynor never made a 400 watt version of these, it'd be game over.

hey Andrew I figured you'd be a member here. as you can see I got the paint off the piping and I had a period incorrect logo at home, it doesn't look right, but it doesn't look too bad either. I'll try and get an original. i hope to check out your band soon and I'll stay in touch.
thanks again Andrew you really made my day/week/year.

What'd you use? You attempt any removal from the headcase yet?

my girlfriends nail polish remover
it came off really easy. I quickly tried a bit on the headcase but it didn't seem to do much. I'll do a bit of research and see if there's anything that might take it off easily, otherwise I'll probably just leave it, it doesn't look too bad in black.
that Bob Glaub bass sounded pretty sweet.

I love the Traynor TS Series... So underrated! I ran my amp as a preamp into a QSC power amp and it was AWESOME!

They have GREAT Distortion / Overdrive.

That is one fine amp!

Yeah, it's a really great bass. Simple but does what a P-Bass should in the best way.

I wish I'd shown you my Regenerate Axiom bass. That bass is full of nasty-good tone.

BTW, if you ever want to compare too, I also have the Rusty Box pedal (the pedal that is a clone of the Traynor TS50B preamp).
