Traynor YBA200-2 sudden volume drop ....

I recently bought a new Traynor YBA200-2, but on the last band practice it suddently dropped in volume and began distorting.
I tried it the next day, and the preamp distorted when gain is on 1.
Is this a known problem with these amps ? I've tried the search the www, but so far nothing has turned up.
Any advice is welcome.

Try changing the preamp tubes first. if anything its probably the first one...closest to the input.

I might try that, but it seems to be back ti normal again....odd..

Makes it even more likely that it is a tube problem....

If it is a new amp then use the warranty. That's what it's for.
