if you're a single cab guy like myself, i think its the best all purpose cab i've ever owned. this thing is perfect for any application or situation. from small bars to fest stages. easy to dial in any sound style you want. this model is discontinued but traynor has new model tc1510 600w. version...for the price the guy was asking, i just couldn't walk away from it. if you find one for reasonable money, snatch it up. i'm keeping this and my marshall 2x15 and the rest are going...don't need 'em anymore...

I tried out that cab many years ago when it first came out and it seemed oddly voiced to my ears. I should qualify that by saying that I used to own an ampeg 115 + 410 cab setup that I intended to use when I couldn't bring the 810 fridge. I didn't like that setup either, so it might speak to the fact that there's something in what I want to hear that isn't delivered by a 15 inch speaker.

By the way, I recently played through a Traynor TC808 and I though it was amazing, plus real affordable.

Greenboy probably wasn't being sarcastic. Play what you own and get to know every nuance of it. Play the gear you love/ love the gear you play. Just because I don't like that cab (or anyone else, for that matter) that doesn't mean it's not a great piece of gear.

derridiandrift, indeed, it's the owner's opinion that matters and not a bunch of others who may have owned the same piece. But I also feel that if you want to open up a topic such as this that it really helps to state what YOU hear (and feel) using the piece. Commit. Don't be an internet turnip.

I just picked up a TC1510 after using a NEO212 for years... I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. I play a lot of d-tuned stuff with my band (C-g-c-f) and also jam regularly with some buddies in standard and this cab covers it all .. and very well!
My only wish is that it was 8ohm so I could add a 210 top(or maybe another 115) and have a variety of setup options.

I would absolutely recommend this cab to someone, it's really quite nice.
