Tube Pre Amp, 500 Watt, small to medium venue

currently play an Ampeg B series 4 pro, have it dialed in nicely with a Mark Bass Compressore pedal, love the sound but the amp is 46 lbs rated at 1000 watts, playing through a 4X10 cab, I think I'm only using a 3rd of the capabilities. Eden, GK, Aguilar, Ampeg SVT3 Pro - all 20lbs or lighter that could do what I need but have heard and read mixed things about made-in-asia products. Let's face it, I can go to GC and play 50 different guitar amps, the bass section is smaller than my walk in closet. Can't try a lot of variety. For my tone I some times need punchy mid/treble, sometimes need well rounded bottom & grind, thinking I need tube pre, 450 watts, keep my cab, sometimes add a 1x15. While I don't think I'm picky I do play in markedly differently bands, so yeah, maybe I am. WT550? Aguilar Tone Hammer 500? GK Fusion 800?
