Hi, dumb question here. if I wanted to buy a basson cab. would it run well on an all tube 300-400 watt amp? Is there a big difference like the dusche mark verse the green back usa. thank you. mark.

Douche-mark, indeed. Sorry, dude, couldn't resist that.

You might need to re-state the questions -- which Basson cab (assuming there's more than one), which tube head, for what purpose, etc, etc.

Not sure where you're going with the now defunct currency comparison, unless it was merely to invite the sort of pun offered above.

Most anything will work well with 3-400 tube watts...seriously.

No. Bassons are very inefficient, require lots of power, and their high average impedance signature is very unfriendly with tube amps.

I thought they went out of business a few years ago. Are you buying used?

I wouldn't advise buying a Basson cab, ever.

They're a dead company, so you'd have to buy used...I wonder why...their business model seemed so destined for greatness:

-Make it as heavy as possible
-Make it as inefficient as possible
-Make your customer service as unfriendly as possible.
