tuner output - level?
Using the Aguilar Tone Hammer 350 as an example - if you are using the front panel XLR line level output as a direct send to the PA system, could you use the tuner output (ONLY other non-speaker output) as another feed? What level are tuner outputs? I'm guessing that they are very low output as most tuners are capable of taking the signal from a passive bass. So the tuner output is probably not strong enough to feed a power amp directly; you would probably need a preamp to bump up the tuner output to a level hot enough for the power amp input - correct?

Correct. Running the tuner out into a power amp's line might actually work, but it may or may not sound good, and it definitely wouldn't crank to the full ability of the power amp. Shouldn't damage anything to try, though.
