Today I got to take through the shake down my new Trace Elliot 1210 combo amp in my church service this morning. I can only say the amp performed flawlessly.

Back in very early 80s I purchased the very 1st Trace Elliot Rig sold in midwest
An AH250 head and a 1048 cab.

I played that rig for a very long time sold it back in 2000 went SWR and then Genz both very good amps by the way.

A buddy of mine found some old audio clips of a group I played with back in early 90s and I loved my bass sound hmmm started lookong at the new trace elliot line
I found my sound back I was looking for.
I took the amp a part wanting to look under the hood knowing how my older TE rig was made. I again liked wht I saw.( I work aviation electronics) very well made

Yes they are heavy but built like a tank.

I guess that puts me back in the Green TE camp

I did the same thing with another brand. I always played with a sansamp BDDI in front of my amps from the late 90's on. I then started to look at digital amp emulations and such. I ended up with a Line 6 Bass Pod XT live. Thousands of sounds at my finger tips. Problem was I found myself only using 1 or 2. One day I pulled my BDDI out of the closet and wow. Sold my pod the next day. Something about analog tube emulation sounded much better to my ears. I'm sure if I could afford a nice tube amp I would like that even better but for now my Tech 21 sansamp is always there.

Yeah, that's how I feel about my Pocket POD. Even though it was designed for guitar, it works incredibly well for bass. I told myself it would be so much better than a SansAmp...but now, I have it set up to sound like a SansAmp. I keep it because it does effects too.
