I've always been a fan of Fender tube amps. I've even built a couple myself for use with guitar, and so when these popped up a year ago I was intrigued but skeptical.

Lately though, I've been attempting to downsize my gear collection in anticipation of a new baby and so I sold off my beloved Aguilar stack with the idea that I'd buy a small combo instead while I'm taking a break from gigging. I wanted something with tubes, but I also wanted something smaller, so after plenty of TB hours logged, and lots of internet searching I ended up replacing it with a Fender Bassman TV 12. All I can say is that I haven't been able to stop playing this thing since it arrived in the big brown truck last week. Holy sweet hot tone!

This thing nails the warm old-school tone that I love, in the perfect size package for my current needs.

Thank you Fender for doing your homework on this one.

Very, very nice. I had one of those about a year ago. I do miss it - great tone!

That is a very nice pair! Not a fan of the tone but those do sound good over youtube.

over the last 4 years I've gone through these rigs

Ampeg svt3pro -> Ampeg 210 and 115 classic cabs
Markbass LMII -> 2 Aguilar GS112 cabs
Aggie AG500sc / Aggie TH500 -> Aguilar DB212

truth be told I was very happy with each of them, and especially enamored with the Aguilar gear, but there's something about this Bassman that I just immediately clicked with.
