Okay, so these are kind of silly questions, but they need answers. I have an Ampeg 2x15 cab. It's essentially the same construction as an 8x10, for those of you who may not know. I want to lay it down on it's side for a gig. My questions are these-
A) Will this effect the tone or sound dispersion in any substantially adverse way?
B) I'm 5' 11", about 150 lbs. Add about 10 lbs. for the Ric. Can I stand on the cab while it's on it's side?
Thank god for Talkbass. |

Of course you stand on the cab....you'll likely fall off and ruin your bass and get hurt, but the cab is strong enough to support your weight. |

If you're wondering, it's real, and it works.

My understanding is it's got two complete power sections, for 600 watts total, and 16 10's.
