Two GK 410MBE's or one 4x10 NEO?
 

I use a GK 1001RB-II with two 410MBE cabs. Has anyone used this head with just one 4x10 NEO. I believe the NEO is rated at 800 watts. I like the sound with the two MBE cab, just trying to make the load smaller. I have the MBE cabs because weight is an issue. I'm actually missing my left shoulder, I just have a plastic spacer in the shoulder which is all ready broke in 2 places. Is the NEO a significantly better cab and would it put out the sound of the 2 MBE's or would the MBE's have more output because I'm using 8-10" speakers. Just thought I'd ask...using the 2 MBE's isn't that big of a hassle. Thanks.
Also, by looking at the NEO on GC's site it looks more like the MBE cab...did they change?

The NEO and MBE are only slightly different. Same cone drivers (G-K NEO 10"). With the NEO's you would pickup the Biamp (HMS) for the horns but not much difference in SPL between the cabs. The two MBE's will be much louder than a single NEO410.

Okay, thanks for the info. It kicks pretty good with the 2 MBE's.
