Underside Mounting screws for Ampge SVT-2pro

Sign in to disble this ad
on the underside of my Ampeg SVT 2PRO are four mounting holes. They're right on the outside edge and seem built into the structure frame (that the handle is also attached to).

does anyone have any idea what size bolts to use with these built in supports?

they seem to be around 1/4"

I've tried 1/4" 20 thread, 1/4" 28thread, even metric M6 (Marshall & Orange British style mounting chassis screws)
none of them thread properly.
any ideas?

I can post pictures later if you guys want.

— i want to use these to mount the amp to my case. just using the four face plate mounting screws relies too much on just the rails imho.

There is a mounting point on the back of the 2-pro that was designed for a support bracket.

yup. same kind of hole.

it's a 1/4" 20 thread, turns out. went into the back hole nice and smooth.
went into the others too with a little more force, guess there was some paint that needed clearing or something.

Thanks!
