Univox U-1051. Should I buy it?

Came across one for cheap and I am wondering if this will be a good amp for what I am looking for. Genre of music to be played will range from ambient/drone to doom to sludge/black metal. Need something to compete with loud drums/loud tube guitar amp. From what I have read, this Univox is 105 watts all tube. Has 2, 4, and 8 ohm selector. 4x 6L6's
Any and all help is appreciated!

I wouldn't consider that to be sufficient power for the genre's you've mentioned. Look for 300+ watts, and enough speakers to get the volume you want.

Some folks (Myself included) can get by with 100 watts(Ampeg V4), and some can't. You'd need to pair it up with a big cab like an 810, and that still may not cut it for the genre of music You're wanting to play.

I don't need to be extremely loud. Just not drown out. I have been interested in V4's as well, so 100watt probably isn't a problem. What do you use your V4 with?
