| | | | unknown "Yorkville" amp... can anyone tell me anything about this amp? I can't get any info, when I search it up I end up on the Traynor Amps website... http://montreal.kijiji.ca/c-acheter-...AdIdZ429652137
does it seem like a good deal??
Thanks! |

Anywho, from what I recall they were pretty decent amps, a bit heavy by today's standards but what Traynor's aren't.
I found the manual: http://www.manualslib.com/manual/389...00.html#manual
I'd say $150 is a good deal, see if he's willing to budge on price. I've played thought these a few times in the past and sort of wish I'd bought one.
Good luck!

| | | | I had one many moons ago with another 15" extension. Really beautiful combo for the price, the scoop knob is magic on it. Built like a tank too, absolutely bullet proof. |

my two cents...

+1 on the reliability/value comments. Traynor in general is fantastic, underrated gear. |

I always found them to have a very modern scooped sound no matter how I EQed them... bright clear highs, and super clear bottom, but weak with the midrange growl, even on basses with aggressive midrange inherent to them. If you like the bright, clean, modern sound (which is great for private practice anyway, or even jamming with some acoustic guitars) I say go for it. The price is a steal anyway!
