Upgrading my amp

I'm looking at upgrading to a more powerful amp. Any suggestions would be great as this is something that I don't really know anything about.

probably would be best to tell us what you have now, what type of music you play, what size venues, what type of tone you desire ect ect.
Your just a tad too vague at the moment, kind of like walking into a car salesmans and asking for a car that runs on four wheels

Price range might be helpful too. In any event you should be aware that chicks dig rigs with separate heads and cabs and stuff. Mostly losers play combos, and only total wet ends play solid state Fender combos with gay little red lights on them.

I only have an Acoustic B20. I play metal, rock, grunge, classical, pep band type stuff, & just like school band stuff. Im looking for something that fill up a space like a gymnasium. Price range would be only up to about $400 or $450 tops. I realize thats not much, but that'll be about the max.

The Eden Metro combo is a great amp - you might be able to find a used one for $450 or so. It's got two channels and 500 watts (true watts) of power and you can eventually set it atop a 115 or 212 and have some serious boom. I never had to go to even half and I play with a rock crusher of a drummer.

I would suggest the Gallien Krueger MB210. 350W (500W w/extension), good eq, great weight, DI built in. $600. Nice little thing.

acoustic b200h with b115 cab. $400 at your local GC, plus if you ever need more volume you can go ahead and add a second cab.

Dude. Yes.

Sorry. Yeah +1 on the GK, plus its uber light so you can carry it around a hell of a lot easier than a Peavey or Acoustic. It's pretty nifty for a combo.

I used to have an ashdown mag 300, that was more than enough to play my school hall/gymnasium.

if not the GK has another +1 from me
