Upgrading SVT810AV with Eminence Legend B810s...

Sign in to disble this ad
Hard to answer this one, I'd expect, but do ya'll think I'd notice a difference if I upgraded just the 2 uppermost speakers in my 810?

I play mostly heavy music, sometimes very clean and sweet, mostly aggressive and slightly overdriven, and sometimes super heavily distorted. I like a clear, bright, punchy, thick aggressive sound with a ton of bottom end. I'm sure I'd really like the extended top end of the B810's, I'm just wondering if replacing only 2 speakers will make a noticable difference...replacing ALL the speakers is not really a cost-effective solution, nor is buying a Heritage series cab, and I like the AV look better anyway...

What say you???

The B810 is very similar to the OEM drivers. Whatever differences there may be probably wouldn't be obvious unless you swapped out at least the upper four, and maybe not even then.
