USA made amps/cabs?

Are there any amps/cabs currently manufactured in the USA? I am looking for solid equipment that has an excellent track record. Thanks in advance for any input on the subject.

Many threads on this. If 'solid and reliable' are your main goals, country of origin has a zero correlation with that (IMNO and IME), so no issue.

If it is more just a nationalistic 'buy American' thing, you are probably stuck with a very few, very expensive brands like Thunderfunk or Bergantino, since even the stuff 'assembled' in the US has power amps, etc. produced overseas.

IMO, better not to really use 'country of origin' as a purchase criteria these days.

Bergantino. Best cabs I've every owned.

I believe Mesa fits your category as well.

Bag End cabs are US made. I have a 212 I got several months ago and I love the beast. Great folks to work with as well on any custom stuff you want. With power amplifiers, certain models of QSC and Crown are US made. My day job is audio/visual contracting and design/install. IMHO, the US made products have less failure out of the box and the life cycle is longer. There is one off shore brand in particular that has the nickname " The Bic Lighter of Pro Audio". When it burps, throw it away and buy another.

Thumbs up

There's nothing wrong with a preference to support American manufacturing as far as I'm concerned.

Some (if not most) manufacturers have tiered product lines with their best products produced right here.

Suggest googling amp manufacturers and then investigating the individual websites.

Some of my favorites:
Euphonic Audio
Mesa Engineering
Epifani

Good hunting!

Really? My GK RB-700 II amp, as well as both my NEO 112 and NEO 212 cabs both clearly say "Made in USA". So... what do you mean by "Not even close" ???

GK has their own China plant now. I'm surprised your Neos are built in the USA.

Is anything truly built in the USA? Seems like everything from paint on toys to dogfood has something from China in it. I'd bet a lot of the MIA stuff has China wire, paint, or components.
