Using Duratex

Anyone have any advice about using duratex? Right now it's not available to buy the textured roller on speakerhardware.com, that acrylitec makes, so i was wondering if anyone has any advice one using something else to get the same type of texture, or if it even matters... Any advice would help.

Depends on what you are going for. You can buy the cheap small rollers from Home Depot or Lowes in many textures. If you like the standard Tolex look, any roller with 1\4" nap will work. Just ask the paint department folks. I used the one from speakerhardware.com when I ordered the Duratex for the outside of the cab, but I used a cheap roller for the inside of cabinet and front face. Worked perfect. The Duratex looks good with any roller, but I would not use a brush for sure.

Can Duratex be tinted for other color combos?
