using multiple cabs

Hi, new guy/long time player here. I have a question about hooking up 2 cabs to an amp. both cabs are 8 ohms. the amp is a Hartke LH 500 rated 350 watts @ 8 ohms and 500 watts @ 4 ohms. Will I get the full 500 watts whichever way i connect the speakers? (series or parallel)?.. thanks

Now don't make the (common) mistake of thinking that you're in series if you daisy chain one speaker to the other. Whether you do this, or plug each cab into an output jack on the head, it's still parallel.
And, yes, your amp will be capable of outputting its full power with either method of connection.

The only way to run series is to do some internal rewiring. (There's probably another way but we won't get into that here)

You can't connect your cabs in series unless you rewire them. Daisy chaining them or connecting them both to the amp results in the same parallel connection.
