mine sounds great thru 2x15's, 1x15 or 4x12's. IMO, it actually sounds great thru any quality cab.

Lightbulb Well!

I used to have one with a V4b cabinet!!!.
That was a pair of Altec 421's 15" in a huge folded horn cab. I loved it but I was a young impressionable Zepp fan and full time watt hog so I traded it in for an Acoustic 370/301.
Which was loud but never had what the old V4B had in the way of tone.
Folded horns were great though!, you could play as loud as you liked on stage and your band mates never complained. The people in the bar or WC or other anti rooms suffered from heart palpatations and shortness of breath due to chest compressions.
Huzzar!

I use an Altec 421 loaded Ampeg B25 cab. This cab looks like a perfect match for the v4b size wise. Matches the width perfectly. Sounds great with the Altec's too!

I run mine through an MTI era slantback 810 or a '72 squareback 810. Prefer it with the squareback.

I got my best results running through 2x15 cabs. Best of all with a pair of them to make a 4x15 array. Worst results were with an SVT cab -- way too inefficient and way too much low-end roll-off. It'll depend on the tone & volume levels you want.
