Valve Art Power Tubes

Just wondering ... has anyone done a comparison between the Valve Art 6550 and the Valve Art KT-88 .... I did a search and really couldn't find this type of info, all though, the KT-88 has been regarded as the new equivalent to the GE 6550A ... what about the Valve art 6550? it's somewhat less expensive

A few TB members really vouch for them here. I think JohnK_10 (TB member) described them as having similar tone as the GE and can also take Higher Voltage when fine tuned the BIAS adjustments - at least that's my understanding.

So from what I've gathered, they are very nice tubes and nicely built.

i haven't tried their 6550's, but their KT100's are absolutely awesome, and are my favorite reissue for a 6550/KT88. their KT88's are also very good tubes.
