I just got a pair of svt210av cabs. I used to own one and kind of missed it. I've been positioning the cabs in various ways but, totally vertical sounds the best. Not the loudest rig on earth but, they actually sound the best when they are up towards their limit and I ran an fdeck hpf3 in my amps fx loop to keep the super low stuff away from them. I may actually use them at next weeks gig instead of my nv610. It's one of those nightmare load in places and I don't need a ton of volume. So, as long as the kick is handling the low stuff through the pa, I should be fine with these two guys. Glad I picked them up. |

First time I saw either band, smallish venue (Lisner Auditorium, Wash DC). Killer show for both bands.
I also saw Rush as part of a five-band mega-show: Ted Nugent, Leslie West, REO Speedwagon, Rush, and Blue Oyster Cult. Don't remember what tour/year that was. All I remember was that BOC struck me deaf and blind with their flashpots.
