I have a chance to buy a 1970's Ampeg 8x10 cabinet, only problem is it needs a couple speakers. I might be able to get a decent deal on it, but i am wondering what i should expect to pay per speaker for replacements and what type i should get. Also it needs grill cloth. I saw that fliptops.net sold it by the foot but i am not sure if the guy has the frame... Any thoughts? |

I would not hesitate to do 8 of the Jensen Modes |

Fliptops sells those as well. If you talk to the dude there (Bruce? Bill? Can't recall) he will be able to make you anything you need to recondition the cab (they do make repro cabs as well). I had them build me a replacement grill for my 77 B40 cab, it was built quick and fits like a glove.
