Vintage Ampeg Cab Restoration Question

Is there a trick to removing these feet cups from my 70’s 810? I’ve tried prying them up, but they’re just getting bent.

Rip 'em out and get new ones.

I've had success in these type things using a hair dryer. Usually makes the metal much easier to maneuver when warm/hot. Just keep prying a little here and a little there. Good luck.

You see the 2 little slots in the bottom of the cup? Looks like they where hammered in (maybe with a little glue at the same time) and meant to stay there. Those little puched out pieces look like they're supposed to seat into the wood, kinda like a T-nut.

Looks like another vote for "rip 'em out and get new ones" unless new ones are hard to come by. Pry them out carefully, take a fine needle-nose or forescepts (sp?), more commonly referred to as roach-clips, straighten those notched anchors out and hammer them into the new cab.

i usually use a wooden dowel that fits snugly into it and gently rock it out in a circular motion. but the blow dryer method sounds good too.
