Vintager and Vintager...

My rig is almost new, but is getting beat up pretty quickly. I wish Acoustic sent their heads and cabs out into the world with something more sturdy than vinyl!

So I found these:
ACOUSTIC B115NEO 1x15 BASS SPEAKER CABINET COVER items in Custom Amp Covers store on eBay!

Worth it? Or, do I embrace the dings, scrapes, etc, and pretend that the street cred increases with age?

Never a bad idea to have covers. Also not a bad idea to take better care of your gear Tolex looks great, but the tradeoff is you have to take better care of it than rat fur.

I agree, cover the Tolex. 25 years ago I thought it was "cool" that my cab looked so beatup and roadworn with the Tolex coming off of it.

Then I realized it just looked like crap. Since then I buy gear with covers or make them myself (my mom taught me how to use a sewing machine when I was a kid). IMHO it just looks so much more professional when it looks like you have taken care of your gear.

Yeah, never quite understood the whole "relic" business. I would like to preserve my gear and keep them looking mint for as long as I can.
