Vox AC50CPH Head into peavey 410b + DI!

So my SWR 4004 speaker fuse assembly took a dump yesterday. I tried to install another fuse assembly to no avail. I pulled out my Vox ac50cph and hooked it to my cab. As I suspected it did not produce very good bottom end. I then hooked up an old Behringer DI modeler and cranked the bass on it. I am very pleasantly surprised at the sound I'm getting!! Lots of bottom, great mids and highs! I play a G&L L2000 tribute and have adjusted it to fit the new rig. Tomorrow I will bring it to my band rehearsal and see how it works in the mix. If it does well I will ditch the Behringer and get a Tech 21 DI. The Amp is a tube, and is at 8 ohm, my cab is at 4 ohms. Any comments, ideas, questions, concerns are greatly appreciated!
