| Vox Amplug Bass my quick review
I jumped in and ordered the VOX Amplug Bass.
My first impressions:
For what it is it sounds great. Good tone reminds me a lot of my small Peavey bass amp. This isn't designed for much more than quick portable private practice but it does that job well.
It has dials for volume tone and gain and these seem reasonably solid. I plugged a cheap pair of ear buds into it. The overall sound is nice and clear and there's plenty of volume to spare.
It claims to run for 27 hours on a set of batteries I believe.
The only downside I saw is the materials feel kind of light and cheap but for the price it seems well made and plenty solid enough. I can see where a person would have to be careful and not get to rough with it but it does its job well. Now only time will tell... |
