Question vox bass amplug headphone amp help

Ive been looking at the vox amplug headphone amp for bass and need an answer to one simple question that I cant find.

Can this be played on without headphones like a normal amp or not?

If you know please help.

well there's no speaker in it if that's what you're asking, so no, you couldn't run it by itself with no amp instead of using the headphones.

You can plug it into a set of powered computer speakers.

That's what I was just thinking!!!!

I love my little computer speaker systems... I have one Logitech (in my bedroom for my computer) and one Altec Lansing (in the den as a general thing to plug mp3 players, laptops, etc into). Each is just two tiny treble speaker "cabinets" and a tiny subwoofer box. I have always been amazed at how deep and full it can sound. Even thick low notes of bass are somehow reproduced with convincing girth and warmth. But when I read the original post of this thread, it just struck me... One of those Vox Bass Amplugs jacked into one of my computer speaker systems might be the perfect little low volume practice rig for casual jamming at conversational volume!!! I must try it!!!!
