Walkabout Player Control Network 4 to 8ohm Conversion

I understand passive crossovers are designed for specific speaker impedances. I have read about people converting their 4 ohm WA's to 8 ohm but I haven't seen anyone discussing swapping out the PCN. Is it necessary? Does Mesa make two versions of the crossover? They don't list it on their sight as a replacement part. If they do, how much does it cost?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I found this thread but no mention of the crossover:

Call and talk with Mesa's tech department, nice, helpful bunch. Chances are the woofer runs full range and is not fed through a pass filter. This would mean changing the woofer would have zero effect on the crossover.

Hmmm, hadn't thought of the woofer running full range, that may explain it.

Yes hardly a need for a bass guitar cab to crossover the woofer (main driver)
