Walkabout Scout speaker issue

When playing my Walkabout Scout combo 12", Sounds like overdriving when playing a "C" on the "A" string or lower. Buzz/overdrive sound. When plugging the Walkabout amp into my Schroeder 1212BMF, no issue. All controls set flat.

Sound like a blown speaker?

I replaced my stock speaker with an Emminence 3012 HO and NEVER looked back

Make sure that the speaker wires are not rattling against the speaker. It makes an annoying distorto-buzz sound, too.

Would a blown speaker distort acrosss the frequency range? I'm asking because every note above the 3rd fret on the A string sounds fine, even at louder volumes.

Not necessarily. Some will, some won't.
