Want to put bigger feet on my Shuttle 6.0

Sign in to disble this ad
I remember reading in a thread here that the feet on the Shuttle series are actually "push on/thru" feet. I.E. they have a "peg" of sorts that pushes through a hole in the chassis. Is that correct? I tried removing one of mine; tried to turn it, pull it with my fingers but it won't budge.

I actually want to put bigger feet on my Shuttle so its sits more securely on the top of my cab. The stock feet are hard plastic and slide around a lot. I want softer, rubberized type feet that have some grip and are taller so I can hook them across the front of my tilted back (on a stand) cab.

Any ideas/suggestions?

"Foot love?". I'm pretty sure there are forums dedicated to that, but it's not my thing personally. LOL.

On a serious note, they do have stick on feet pads at Home Depot and such in the area with nuts and bolts. I'd see what they have

I use tool box padded liner material. Comes on a roll, and works like a charm. My Shuttle NEVER moves.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I was looking for something more sturdy than peel-n-stick feet. Possibly some small cabinet feet that could be bolted on with small bolts. Like these that I put on my recently-built TB110 cab. PE# 260-773, they are 1 1/8" in diameter and only 1/2" high.

I don't know how much clearance is available inside the Shuttle chassis for that though.

Why not get the dock for the Shuttle 6.0 and mount it where you want it?

Good point, Pilgrim. But in my case I want to keep the head separate and the little cab "cab shaped." I.E. without any brackets mounted to it so I am free to position the cab how I need it (on it's side, bottom, etc).

Do they sell the shuttle dock separately? If so, count me in for one.
