Weber z matcher

So I want to get this fender bassman 70 and I have a Marshall I want to use with it. But the bassman is 4 ohms and the Marshall 410 is 8 ohms. The head is rated at 100 watts and the cab at 200 I've read it's ok to match them like this but it's better to match impedance. So would the 100 watt version of the weber z matcher solve my problem? Thanks!

The short answer is yes, it should work.

However, you'll be running that thing at or slightly above its rated power, so make sure you keep it cool (on the floor, in the shade, plenty of air space on ALL sides including the bottom, possibly add some forced airflow, all that good stuff).

Another thing that comes to mind is whether that transformer is adequately sized for bass duty. You might want to call Weber & ask before you decide to spring for one.
