weight capacity of rack bag.

Short and sweet, am I nuts to put a svtII in a rack back? Already have a svt-vr in a road case, and I am trying to keep weight down with this one. This is the "light weight" rig if you will.

thanks in advance.

I've carried my old SVTII (non-pro) in a shallow gator rack, and it holds up no problem. I have a gator rack bag, and it seems every bit as robust as the case, so I don't see it failing under the weight.

BUT, I'd have a difficult time one-handing it everywhere, because the gator bag doesn't have dual side handles.

I don't think you would save much weight since the amp is heavy to start with and the rack bags still weigh over 10lbs.

I have a Peavey AlphaBASS 160 watt all tube head in a Kaces 4U rack bag, and I don't think I'd want to trust such a setup to twice the weight of the Peavey...
