Not in any order:
QSC
Crown
Carvin
GB
Ampeg
SWR......

List goes on.

Depends entirely on what you are looking for.

So Carvin, Genz and Ampeg have the 3 highest wattage rated class D amps?

are you specifically looking for powerful "class d" amps because you anticipate a micro sized amp if using class d circuitry?

I would say the Ampeg SVT 8 Pro at 1300w @ 4 ohms and 2500w @ 2 ohms, Genz Benz Shuttlemax 12 at 600w @ 4 ohms a side for a total of 1200, and the Ampeg SVT 7 Pro at 1000w @ 4 ohms.

Why did you rule out QSC, and Crown? Are you only consider standalone amp heads, and not power amps?

Now that you have that info, where will it take you?

It's like having the horsepower numbers for several cars. But raw horsepower doesn't really tell you how the car handles it. You can get more HP in a big pickup truck than in a Porsche. If you want to race, who cares about the bigger truck engine?

I presume you're interested in loudness? That's all your audience hears...they don't hear wattage.
