What about a 2x10 and a 1x12

I'm now using 2 Hartke (2x10 xl's) and was thinking of dropping one cab and adding a Hartke Hydrive 1x12. How is that mix going to sound? I got the urge to buy more stuff, if the wife approves.. what say you all.

The actual answer is you're barking up the wrong GAS tree. My advice if you're starting to get heavy in the pockets, stock up on strings, unpack them and wrap them in saran wrap for a rainy day.

The problem with mixed cabs is that there's no way to predict how they'll work. Could be better, could be worse. And unless you try all the permutations in the same test session you'll never know.
