Pretty much sums up why I have one.

Though I have since kept the head and ditched the cab, I have nothing but love for the Mesa Walkabout.

I'm blown away by the sound I got from a HARTKE Kickback 10. I couldn't turn it up beyond 11 o'clock without distorting the stock speaker

I replaced the speaker with an Eminence CH2010 150 watt 8 ohm speaker and it's warmer and stays clean with the volume/gain knob at 2 o'oclock.

Sessions, small clubs, small churches, acoustic gigs, jazz gigs, rehearsal and practice.
$100 used
$120 speaker replacement

PS: I've owned, Walter Woods, Demeter, MESA, Ampeg, Trace, GK and Aguilar... This little guy sounds amazing.

Since I got the Rickenbacker 4003 and play it in stereo, I find that running the bridge pickup through the Fender Bassman TV15 and the neck pickup through the Fender Bassman TV210 has given me all the tone I'll ever need!!

I use a B200 MKII and I'm really happy with the tone this little combo amp has. I'vew been playing since 1966 so I've gone through my share of amps and this little Acoustic amp has far better tone than my old Ampeg or Sun amps ever had.

I have a Fender Bassman 60 from the mid 90's. It's a 1x12 with a moderate amount of oomph, but most importantly it doesn't sound tiny or thin when playing through it. It actually sounds like a bass amp thanks to the port in the front.

I just picked up an Ashdown Five Fifteen. It was actually several choices down the list, but now that I have it and have used it, it has a really nice sound to it.

GK MB115-II.

Just by itself the 1x15 sounds better than the 1x12.

Fender Studio Bass '78.
I've got it in my living room, since I cannot move the d*mned thing. Other than the weight it is the best bass amp ever. Period.
