Hi.

Looks like a home made amp, but then again, so do most of the 70's amps that didn't come from the big companies.

What does R1000 buy over there? A direct conversion to € sounds very, very tempting.

What does R1000 buy over here? In terms of Bass amps, nothing. Maybe a Boss pedal. Very recent price, at a large music store, Ashdown MAG300 & 210 cab was R5000 new. Edit: with discount

Hi.

If You have any DIY tech experience (by the looks of it some TLC is needed ) it's a steal.

Even if You have to take it to a tech, it will still be a sweet deal. IMHO only of course .

This morning I get a mail from gumtree that the advert has been deleted. Looks like the amp was sold before the seller e-mailed me back.

That was the plan. For the money it would have been worth it even if it was a clanker.
