Really, really miss my old mid-60s blackface Bassman. Sheez, what was I thinking?

Kinda miss my ole 1988 Peavey Mark IV head. I know where it is, though, and might buy it back. I wonder how much? Any ideas?

Sorta miss my Peavey Combo 300 that I just sold a few months ago. But, I couldn't carry it anyway, so...

My first quality rig:

Ampeg SVT 3-Pro
2 Mesa-Boogie 1x15 Diesels

I can't get over how much money I would have saved had I kept it, and it would still be an awesome setup.

Probably have to say my Ashdown MagMon-12. I have replaced it with my SWR Strawberry Blonde, but I really did like that Ashdown.

I liked these, but don't miss carrying them around, but enjoyed the sounds;

-Acoustic 370 and 2 JBL Cabaret SPKs with K-140's
-Messa Boogie 400+ and 2 - 1-15" cabs.
-Eden 500 - and 2- 4/10 cabs.
-Thunderfunk 500, and a DNA 4/10

All great equipment, but as I get older, its a tad heavy at this point in time.

I had 2 of them that shut down in the middle of a gig (not good) i think they went into thermal protection, but i wasn't even pushing it hard. Gain around 9, vol around noon. After going through 2, with the same issue i through in the towel and went back to GK. my old LMIII sounded great with my GK Neo cabs, i never had any issues with that head.

Thunderfunk 550B & my first Eden WT550 amp.

I later purchased a second Eden WT550 but for some reason it didn't have quite the same sound as the first.

Recently picked up a new WT550 and it totally kills with the Berg HT-112ER! Just as I remember with the 1st one. Third time's the charm!

Order restored!

I sold my Hiwatt DR504 back in 1991 or so. Definitely not the loudest bass amp I ever had, but its tone was just breathtaking. Had the good old Telefunkens in it.

I love that rig. I virtually paid off my mortgage repairing them.

The only bass amp I had that I sold & now miss is an early 1970s silverface Fender Bassman 50 head that I used with a Fender Dual Showman 2x15" cabinet. This was my "big rig" for both guitar and bass back when I was 16 years old...gorgeously warm round liquid sparkley tone for days

...but man was it a bitch to get it into a Volkswagen Beetle! Thus began The Great Downsizing which pretty much continued for the next ~35 years.

(Additional guitar regret: I also owned a beautiful silverface Fender Twin Reverb that I bought new in 1977, had to sell that to make rent money when I was a pathetic unemployed 18-year-old. I kick myself every day for selling that.)

Every other amp I've sold since has been a good thing, resulting in an improvement to my rig, so I don't miss any of those interim amps.

An Ashdown Abm 300 Evo II- No longer made, perfect volume for me.
ADA Mb-1 Preamp. Neat but I needed to play with it more.
Trace Elliot GP12 SMX Preamp Just needed more time with it and a cleaning of the pots!

EA VL-110. Best small cab I've heard (at the time, at least).

Maybe my Epi UL-310.

I had an early 70s Ampeg V4B. Sold it around 1988. That was one I wish I would have kept.
