What cab?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, im currently in a cover band playing small to moderate to large rooms. Mainly its house systems, sometimes we do our own sound.I am using the markbass 2x10 combo...300 watts on its own500 with an extension cab. This amp is the greatest thing ever its small, light (4 nights a week hauling it around) and sounds great, it doesnt make much bass but its loud and i can hear it, also the soundguy adds the bass out in the front of house if needed( i always take it out of a sansamp tech 21, not the line out on the amp)......but in so,me of the big rooms i need more. What should i get another 2x10 or a singe 15?? or something else??? I dont have alot to spend, like 300$ range hopefully. Also it has to be 8ohms.. Thank You so much....!

How about adding a Markbass 4x10 to give you 6x10?

Seems to me that this would definitely give you the most bang for the buck.

Definitely ! The 410 will get you the biggest bang & be an awesome rig.

Seems to me another 210 would be best. That way each gets 250w. With a 410 the 410 will get 250w and the 210s will, too. You will be limited to what the 210s can handle, when the 410s are still rearing to go more, see?

If your looking in the $300-400 range I might recommend an avatar cab. I owned a 212 a while back, and I can't for the life of me say anything bad about it.

As for the 115 or 210 debate, a 115 might be a good choice to fill out the low end, but if volume is your main concern you might want to drop the money for a 410 to take all the guess work out. A 210 and 410 combo would move some air, and for smaller/medium sized gigs, you could leave the 410 at home and save some money on chiropractor later in life

I just purchased the 104HF @ 8ohm to go along with the 102P combo

Most shows, 500w is enough and the height is perfect to really drive the wall of sound out.

I can def tell the 210 is working it's hardest against the 410... But the overall sound is AMAZING.
